There were so many terrific colonial life books to choose from for our recent unit study. We used Homeschool in the Woods as our spine for our colonial life unit study. You can read all about how I set up our unit studies. You can also see some of the fun projects we did during our study in a video.
I wanted to devote a post just to the resources we used for this study, because we read plenty of great books! There’s a ton of colonial life books and resources to choose from and if you’re planning a study like this too, this list is for you.
Not only did we read books together as a family, my 4th and 6th grader each had individual reading, plus we had a great pile picture books that we added in each day as well.

Colonial Life Activity Resources
