I was given a set of Wikki Stix letter cards from Timberdoodle Co. in exchange for an honest review. If I’m ever looking for something a little different to add to our homeschool rotation, I call on Timberdoodle Co. first. And since I’m officially adding a new mini student to our homeschool mix this year, I was happy to snag this Wikki Stix Alphabet set and try it on for size.
Doing a whole lot of “school work” with 4-year-old’s is against my nature. There is so much time for worksheets and formal lessons. The only thing I even think about teaching at this age is letter recognition (and mayyyybe their sounds if they’re interested) and counting to ten. And if these things don’t happen 100%, I’m fine with that.
The preschool realm is chock full of amazing products and fun things to fill our closets and shelves with. But hoarding (even great) supplies is also against my nature. So I’m careful about what I bring into my home. And here’s why I really really like using Wikki Stix Alphabet for preschool.
